Nature Coast Business Development Council

The Board of County Commissioners established the Nature Coast Business Development Council (NCBDS) in 1985 to promote sustainable growth of a strong, diversified and prosperous economy in Levy County through public and private economic development initiatives that preserve and enhance the quality of life for the residents while protecting the natural, recreational, historical and cultural resources of the county. The NCBDC is supervised by an appointed Board of Directors, is funded by the Board of County Commissioners, is incorporated under Florida law, has been designated as a 501 (c) 6 by the IRS, and has been designated a Dependent Special District by the Florida Department of Community Affairs.
