Levy County operates a Class III landfill wherein items, which do not require a lined cell, may be disposed. We also operate a transfer station wherein all items requiring lined cell are transported to a permanent waste site out of the county. In addition to these services, we also accept and dispose of waste tires, white goods (old appliances), construction and demolition debris, used oil, limb and brush. Periodically we provide assistance of free disposal of debris for persons or groups who wish to clean the environment of illegally dumped waste by volunteering their services to the public.

Recyclable items are free of charge, if cleaned and separated. That includes aluminum cans, steel cans, plastic milk jugs, plastic detergent bottles, plastic drink bottles, newspapers, and cardboard (no wax coated).
