Animal ServicesLevy County Animal Services Feral Spay/Neuter Program
Beginning Thursday, January 25, 2018, Levy County Residents can participate in the feral spay and neuter program. This program is for Levy County residents only and a driver's license showing proof of address will be required. We will schedule 15 cats to be spayed/neutered once a month. We will not be setting all ten (15) slots for one person, preferably 3-4 cats per person at the most. All cats must arrive in a cat trap. If you do not have a trap, they can be obtained from us for a deposit of $25 each (3-4) (cash or check). Caregivers may bring carriers that the cat(s) can go home in if they are planning on leaving the trap with us. All cats undergoing surgery will have their ear tipped (this cannot be declined by the caregiver of the cat).
If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact our office at 352-486-5138.
