Transit Mandatory Mask Notice

Attention!

As of February 1, 2021, a Federal law went into effect through Orders issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Transportation Security Administration under Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 264) and 42 Code of Federal Regulations 70.2, 71.31(b), and 71.32(b).  The Federal law now requires that County Transit bus operators and all bus passengers wear a mask while being transported. Failure to comply is a violation of Federal law.  Masks must meet CDC guidelines and must be worn over the nose and mouth at all times. Any passenger refusing to wear a mask while boarding, during travel and or while unboarding, can and will be refused service.

As a County Transit bus passenger, it is your responsibility to provide your own mask.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent matter.
