LEVY COUNTY REDISTRICTING COMMUNITY MEETINGS

Levy County Redistricting

Community Meetings

The Levy County Board of County Commissioners are in the process of redistricting the County.  Florida statutes require the County to determine the need for redistricting after each decennial census.  State law also permits the County to adjust commission district boundaries in odd-numbered years in order to keep the districts as nearly equal in proportion to population as possible.  Board staff will be holding five public community meetings to consider community input on alternative district maps.  Citizens are invited to attend whichever meeting is best for them.  All meetings will begin at 6:00 pm and will each be one-hour long. Please call 352-486-5218, ext. 2 if you need more information.
