Levy County Department of Public Safety is a comprehensive emergency response organization including medical services (EMS) and fire services for the citizens and visitors of Levy County. Levy County EMS is the sole ambulance provider based in Levy County. The County EMS Fleet consists of seven Advance Life Support (ALS) transport units operating out of stations located in key locations throughout the County. Each ALS transport crew consists of one EMT-Paramedic and one EMT-Basic, working a 24/48 schedule.
Levy County Fire provides fire suppression to unincorporated areas of the County operating out of three active stations. Rosewood, Fowlers Bluff, and Morriston. Typically, these stations are staffed during daytime hours with volunteer coverage during the overnight hours.
